The position requires a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Supply Chain or Materials Management and 3 - 5 years of supply chain planning experience. APICS certification is preferred. The successful candidate will be exceptionally good at generating buy-in from other people and departments. He/she will be energetic, a people person and goal oriented.

Duties: If selected, you will work with the JD Edwards detail of your assigned product category for about 40% of your time. An additional 40% will be spent immersing yourself in how all aspects of planning currently take place. With that knowledge, you'll spend 20% of your time developing and implementing strategies to transform the process. You will be responsible for all systems and people-driven processes for your product category, working with your coworkers to identify and implement improvements. You will also be responsible for development amd implementation of product replenishment programs on a global basis. Also for all inventory stock levels, inventory turn rates, lead times and replenishments triggers in organization, including international warehouses. Will work closely with Sales to review demand trends. Responsible for development, implementation, and continuous improvement of forecasting techniques. Also for training coworkers and other employees on the planning process. You will travel, sometimes internationally, less than 25% of your time.
