Qualifications: Aerotek's exclusive customer is a Fortune 1000 company with international operations and more than 4000 local employees. The company is presently seeking to add a Commodity Manager to their Milwaukee-area headquarters.

This position will be responsible for identifying potential commodity vendors as part of a global procurement team. This position will negotiate commodity contracts for 13 North American locations, as well as additional business units as well. This person will manage the RFP process, as well as negotiations and bid award duties.

The ideal candidate will have his/her 4-year degree and 7+ years of applicable experience. Candidates must have a proven history of negotiating high-volume and high visibility contracts for multi-site operations. A background in sourcing manufacturing materials commodities is necessary for this role. It is preferred that candidates have SAP skills, however, we will consider qualified candidates with other MRP backgrounds.
