Bachelors Degree in Operations Management or equivalent experience
Effective organization and communications skills
Strong attention to detail
Knowledge of QRM or Lean concepts/principles
Proficient in Windows Operating System and Microsoft Excel
Solid understanding of MRP and ERP (SAP)
Understanding and experience with Bill of Materials, routings, reading blueprints
Understanding and interaction with purchasing, inventory control and order processing functions
Strong problem solving skills
APICS membership is a plus
Duties: Responsible for supporting and managing all floor stock inventory
Responsible for maintaining bills of materials (BOM)
Responsible for the implementation of engineering changes to BOMs
Reviews and approves purchase requisitions
Reviews and adjusts production & purchase order lot sizes
Responsible for cycle count program and review of inventory discrepancies
Analyze future load related to capacity and make recommendations for hiring, overtime and subcontract
Use of Lean/Quick Response Manufacturing (QRM) principles in daily activities
