Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have completed some basic Operations Management courses and be familiar with basic theory, however, no prior experience is necessary. There is no credit hour or grade level restriction. Desired skills include basic navigation in Excel, strong critical thinking, confidence, proven leadership abilities, and the ambition to drive improvement. The workspace is a traditional office environment with business casual dress code. Membership and involvement in APICS, the Association for Operations Management, will be looked on favorably.

There is no firm start and end date for this position. The expectation is that the incumbent will work 15-20 hours per week during the school year (flexible around class and extracurricular schedules) and full-time hours during breaks. This is a paid internship with a competitive hourly wage.

Duties: Possible Responsibilities:
Evaluate lot sizes and issue purchase requisitions
Schedule customer orders for both purchased and manufactured parts
Maintain parts forecasting for aftermarket sales
Assist MinePro service centers with planning, scheduling, and inventory levels
Manage Milwaukee inventory levels appropriately and aggressively
Manage global inventory through transport, resale, and scrapping initiatives
Actively engage in cross-functional teams and take on diverse opportunities
Complete projects with minimal supervision as identified by department
